Happy National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day!

In honor of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day today, Lucy and I baked some of said cookies. I got everything ready while Lucy was in school, and then we baked after school, before nap time. As usual, she was really excited about baking. And as usual, I loved it! She's so good at it already!

What's even more fun than baking together? Sharing baked goods with good friends. So after Lucy's nap, we bagged up some of the cookies and went to deliver a few bags to a few friends. We met up with Luke in the park, then went to Ethan's house, and then Bregan's house.

Of course, we still have some at home. It should be noted that, as enthusiastic as she is about the baking process, she doesn't eat many baked goods. Oh well, more for Brian and me!
