Family = Fun

A few weeks ago we were fortunate enough to spend time with some of our favorite people, who we don't get to see nearly often enough.

The fun started when we went down to San Diego to Mom & Dad C's house. We always have such a lovely time there, and this visit was no exception. Lucy was able to spend some quality time with Gramma and Grampa (in between naps).

And we especially loved spending some time with Shelby, Sara, and Nick, who were in town visiting from Northern California. A couple of the highlights of the day: seeing Sara again and meeting Nick for the first time!

Cute! (Brian and Lucy with Shelby and Nick)

Sara is getting to be such a big girl, and Nick- what a super cute little dude! I especially enjoyed love being able to hang out and swap stories with Shelby, seeing as she's not only an experienced mom of a toddler, but also of an infant, and she can relate to everything I'm going through. I wish they still lived in SoCal- it would be so much fun to be able to hang out together more often! Cousins Julie, Gary, and their adorable Luke also happened to be in town, so we had the added pleasure of spending some time with them, too. It was fun to see so many little ones in one place. Good times!

The following day Faye and Ashley came to town for a visit for a week and boy did we have fun!

We had so much fun during the day hanging out. We went shopping, we posed with statues during our visit to the Getty Villa, we conducted very scientific (okay, not really) cupcake taste tests, we went shopping, we ate yummy Chinese food, and we even made corned beef hash patties, eggs, and rice for dinner one night. That's right- YUM!

The best part was being able to spend time together.

We're so lucky to have such wonderful families and extended families. Lots of family = Fun times! :)
