Easter, the real deal
As I previously shared, we've been Easter-ing it up all week. Not to be outdone, Easter Sunday brought lots of fun of its own, too!
Easter Bunny was somehow able to hop on the rolls of paper laid out by the carpet cleaners yesterday, because there was a basket waiting for Lucy when she woke up this morning. :) We went out for a quick, early breakfast, then made a quick, early trip to the grocery store, before heading to Gramma and Grampa's house to celebrate Easter. As always, Gramma and Grampa always know how to do holidays right. Lucky for Luce, the Easter Bunny also made a stop at their house to hide eggs, so Lucy was able to have her very own egg hunt! Having been through three previous egg hunts this week, she is an old pro. It didn't take her long at all to find all the eggs!
Once we returned inside, she had fun opening all the eggs to find the goodies inside!
Quite a haul, if you ask me! :)
We had a very yummy early dinner, consisting of a delicious spiral cut ham, roasted potatoes, and "beautiful carrots!" :) Oh, and of course, lots of chocolate and jellybeans for dessert. ;)
Gramma read the story of Peter Cottontail to Lucy, and then we headed back home.
Luce was out in record time.
It was a great day! We love being able to share the holidays together with "Grampa and Grampa." :)
