And, we're walking...

We've got a Munchie on the move!  Lucy is still crawling, but she's now walking, too.  Sometimes she walks with stiff little legs like a penguin, other times she stumbles around like a drunken sailor.  Sometimes she's slow and deliberate, other times she's quick and stutter steps around.  Sometimes she stays on her feet for a while, other times she falls down frequently.  In any event, she looks really cute. :)

While trying to catch her on video the other day, I just let the camera run while she played around.  She likes to walk around the room, picking up things, and occasionally going over to say, "Hi!" to the dog (who we sometimes put in the bedroom, so that she can wander without getting in his way- or vice-versa).  Here are a couple glances of what we've been seeing these days.

I'm amazed at how good she's become at walking in such a short amount of time.  She's really only been "free-walking" for just under two weeks.  (Thanks to not-so-subtle coercion by my friends Lori and MJ, two self-proclaimed "goal oriented" aunties who, while visiting us one day, decided they would get Lucy to walk.  And wouldn't you know- they accomplished their goal!  She's been walking ever since!)
